We Have the Experience

A recent implementation at one of the nation's largest utilities highlights the capabilities that Mavro can offer to the industry. This utility receives up to 100,000 payments per day, and although partially mechanized, all "exception payments" (multiple checks, multiple coupons, summary bills, correspondence, etc.) required some level of hand processing. As a result, they frequently missed their processing deadlines and required extra shifts to complete their work.

Mavro implemented a Check 21-enabled remittance solution that includes Opex combined mail extraction and scanning devices plus several modules from Mavro's MavBridge™ Software Suite. With this new system in place, “One-Touch” processing of all transaction types, including exceptions, became a reality. Transaction types are automatically recognized by the system, separated into "Virtual Batches", and directed to the proper optimized work flow. At the end of the processing day, deposits are made electronically, eliminating the need for a time-consuming courier run to the bank.

Beyond Standard Payments

The MavBridge™ Software Suite includes specialized modules to address specific industry challenges such processing of summary bills or check skirts, money orders, check only payments, and stop service priority payments. Important correspondence can be captured along with payment images and routed to customer service in parallel with the payment's processing. Topping it all off, the Dashboard display in our MavBridge™ Workflow Monitor software lets managers oversee every aspect of system operation in real time, spotting problems before they become serious. The Dashboard also ties into Mavro's unique Smart Track™ software, allowing each batch of transactions to be tracked both electronically and physically as it progresses from extraction, to processing, to storage, and finally destruction.
