MAVRO Adds New OPEX Production Scanner for Payments
MOORESTOWN, N.J. (March, 2008) - MAVRO Imaging,
an Authorized Reseller and Integrator for OPEX Corporation, has a new
scanner in its product line. At AIIM 2008, OPEX Corporation released
the DS1225p; a mid-volume
production scanner that specializes in one touch payment processing
for checks and corresponding documents. Drop scanning technology, which
was first introduced with the successful OPEX AS3600 combination mail
extractor and scanner, is now available in this lower priced scanning
model.
A leading innovator and manufacturer in digital mailroom and document
imaging solutions, OPEX has enabled this unique drop scanning platform
to be seamlessly integrated into any scanning environment. By combining
drop feeding with check processing features, it is no longer necessary
to route checks separately from their supporting documents. In a single
step, the DS1225p can
scan, capture, read MICR, print an audit trail, and sort transactions
containing checks and larger documents.
Engineered as a “prep saving” single operator workstation, transaction
integrity is exceptional. With fewer handlers in contact with documents,
opportunities to misplace or damage documents are reduced and the risk
of confidential information being compromised is minimized. Moreover,
its drop feeder reduces jams, eliminates the need to jog, and proficiently
processes even the most damaged and prep-intensive documents.
Additional features include on-board magnetic and optical MICR read,
ultrasonic multifeed detection with AntiJam™, OpAssist™ input sensor,
a TWAIN standard interface, rear audit trail printer with ink level
indicator, and two sort bins. Other notable options include an integrated
workstation, front audit trail printer, and OPEX CertainScan™ capture
software.
