Data Enrichment Modules (DEMs)
DEMs are a series of easy-to-use, plug-and-play applications that mesh seamlessly with the MavBridge Framework. The DEMs use a collection of post-scan image enhancement processes to produce the best possible images. Each module runs automatically, requiring no user intervention.
The MavBridge automated DEMs include modules that support:
Image Enhancement and Quality
- Despeckle images to improve readability and reduce file size.
- Extract critical areas from a larger document.
- Down-sample to reduce file size or up-sample to support downstream compatibility.
Transaction Cleanup
- Automatic rotation of scanned portrait and landscape documents.
- Scan transactions in any order and let MavBridge order them properly.
- Removal of unneeded pages or images from batches.
- Automatic removal of blank pages.
Data Capture and Indexing
- Find and decode 1D or 2D barcodes anywhere on a document.
- Single or multi-font OCR to extract printed data.
- Read check boxes or look for writing such as address changes.
Tracking and Reporting
- Apply audit trail tracking information to your images in any position or orientation.
- Create customizable end-of-batch reports.
- Receive email alerts for every batch or for other user-specified conditions.
- Continuously monitor image quality and set an alarm if quality degrades.
Custom Business Logic
- A powerful scripting language allows complex actions to be performed automatically without the need for custom software installation.
- Create a simple “lookup” table to easily map your data to the proper values.
