MavBridge™ Image Enhancement
The image enhancement features available via our MavBridge™ Software Suite are designed to reduce to an absolute minimum the number of times that hard copies of processed documents must be retrieved. Any time during processing, a poor quality image from the scanners can be enhanced by retrieving the original grayscale images and making adjustments.
Better Processing Results
Because processing efficiency relies directly on good image quality, Mavro provides what you need to get the best results. As shown in the graphics on this page:
- The original bitonal image of a document supplied by the scanner may be poor.
- MavBridge™ Keying Station software allows an operator to retrieve the original grayscale image and to use an enhancement toolset to make the necessary adjustments to achieve optimal image quality.
- Because Mavro's Image Archive software supports storage of both bitonal and grayscale images, it ensures that the most comprehensive level of image information is always available.
Optimized File Size
The X9 files created by the MavBridge™ software also benefit from some less obvious characteristics of our image enhancement capabilities:
- All check images must be binarized before they are placed in an X9 file.
- Most banks request that the size of each binarized check image be limited to about 100 kB.
- During check binarization, MavBridge™ software automatically recognizes excessively large image files and compresses them using a very efficient process that results in smaller files with a high level of image quality.
- The problem of producing X9 files that are unacceptable to the bank and that would result in deposit delays is eliminated.
